My experience in EMS30

Once upon a time there was a grade eleven student who decided to take media thinking it would be an easy course to lighten up her schedule consisting of Math and English. Once the semester started she thought the course was going to be watching movies, music videos and couldn’t wait for the trip to Toronto to visit the Much Music studio to be on the show Much on Demand. As the semester went on her whole perspective on the course changed, it wasn’t as easy as she thought. There were a lot of assignments, and the blog she had to do throughout the whole course was hard to manage. In the beginning her marks weren’t very good, but into the semester she worked really hard and got all her assignments done. She learned a lot more then she thought she would in this course, for example media literacy, communication theory, media analysis, copyright issues, culture and popular culture. Also history of media, tricks of persuasion and music videos.
