Paparazzi

The role of the paparazzi in today's media is to take unwanted photographs of celebrites that will make them millions of dollars. They will go to the extend of speeding, and going against the law just to take one picture, that could possibly be worth millions of dollars or worth absolutely nothing. Its the risk they are willing to take. These pictures most likely will embarass the celebrity or even change their overall outlook of them. Although these pictures are sometimes pointless, like taking pictures of a normal routine in a celebrities life, these pictures can make up to millions of dollars. All these images allow people to move past the made up, "fake" celebrites, and see that those we idolize are exactly like everyone else.

Most of these photo's that paparazzi takes can hurt the appareance of the celebrity or anyone they are with. Most paparazzi will look for the right time to take unflattering pictures. But also they can be pictures of a celebrity doing something good for someone, or for cherity. Our need to know every little thing in a celebrities life makes our society even worse then the paparazzi... if you think about it, they are taking these pictures for our entertainment and we can't get enough of it. Every little detail about a celebrities life intrests us. I think this is because we look at them as a different level of people. We seem to think they are much more different then any of us, just because they have been in movies or can sing and dance. But in reality they are exactly just like any of us.

In my opinion I think most celebrites look at paparazzi as if they are a part of their everyday life now. They know where ever they go, there is going to be paparazzi and what ever they do is going to be pictures or videos taken of them. When you become famous, the paparazzi becomes part of your life and your every little thing you do, everyone will know.

Last night I was at a club in downtown L.A with Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and many other celebrites. We were all having a good time dancing and everything, when one of Britney Spears' agent came up to me and told me they heard that I have a really good singing voice and heard that I can act. One of them said that they would like to be my agent and get me in a couple movies and a record deal. I took the offer without even having to think about anything. After a couple more hours at the club we went back to the agents house and he set everything up for me. The next morning when I woke up my name was EVERYWHERE, on the tv, news, paper, and radio. When I went out to get breakfast there was paparazzi waiting outside my house and followed me all the way to Starbucks. They kept yelling my name trying to get pictures of me. At first I thought it was pretty cool, but after a while it got really annoying. There was people waiting outside my car for hours and hours at a time.

A couple months later, it was all getting worse. The paparazzi wouldn't let up. They were still always outside my house even when I wasn't there. They all knew what I was doing and where I was going to be...even before I knew. They would run after me down the street and would do anything they could to get a picture. I finally realized that this was my life now and the paparazzi wasn't ever going to stop. So I had to find a way to live with it. At times I would cooperate and let them take pictures but most of the time it was annoying and I just wanted them to leave. I really thought about it, and they are just doing their job. I know before I became a celebrity I was always interested in the other celebrites personal lifes and wanted to know more and more. Now I am one of those people that everyone wants to know about.
